A second person has been charged in the death of a toddler in Regina.
Harley William Fraser Stueck, 38, from Regina is charged with criminal negligence causing death, indignity to a dead body and obstructing justice.
Police found three-year-old Nylan Jordan George Clarke's body inside a van parked behind a home in the 200 block of Halifax Street on Tuesday.
The boy's mother, 29-year-old Anna Marie Wilkes, faces similar charges in the child's death.
Prosecutors allege Wilkes tried to set the van on fire with the child's body inside. It's also alleged that she failed to seek medical care that could have saved her son.
Wilkes is currently in custody awaiting a bail hearing May 9.
Following a brief court appearance Friday, Stueck was remanded into custody awaiting his next court appearance May 11.
