Students in Yorkton lit candles last night for those who have died in motor vehicle accidents.

The high school's Students Against Drunk Driving chapter staged their first candlelight vigil.

The ceremony honoured the lives of loved ones lost on Saskatchewan roads every year, and served as a reminder to drivers to use caution behind the wheel.

While this was SADD's first candle light vigil in the community, yesterday marked the fourth annual National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims.
