A Saskatchewan teacher has been charged with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
RCMP say 52-year-old Klaus Froese was arrested after police began investigating a complaint in early December.
Until recently, Froese taught at O.M Irwin Middle School in Swift Current.
But in a letter to parents, the local school board says Froese has left their employ, and is no longer permitted on school property.
Froese has been released on conditions. His first court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 15 in Swift Current.
